The winter landscape of the Zillertal is not only a paradise for skiers and snowboarders, but also for toboggan fans. With a total of 48 kilometers of perfectly groomed toboggan runs, 28 kilometers of which are floodlit in the evening, the Zillertal promises a unique tobogganing experience for young and old. From picturesque, flat routes for families to challenging runs for experienced tobogganing pros – the variety of tobogganing options is impressive.<\/p>\n\n

Tobogganing on the Spieljoch<\/h2>\n\n

The 5.5 km long toboggan run starts at the mountain station and ends at the Spieljochbahn middle station. The 10-seater gondola lift takes you directly from the village area in F\u00fcgen up to 1,858 m. An exciting tobogganing experience with a difference in altitude of 663 m awaits you on this medium-difficulty slope.<\/p>\n\n

Hochf\u00fcgen toboggan run<\/h2>\n\n

The over 1.5 km long, well-lit toboggan run in Hochf\u00fcgen offers tobogganing fans lots of fun even after dark. The relatively easy route through the magical landscape starts at an altitude of 1600 m and covers a difference in altitude of around 150 m.<\/p>\n\n

Kupfnerberg toboggan run<\/h2>\n\n

The 3 km long “Kupfnerberg” toboggan run near Uderns is ideal for advanced toboggan fans. The starting point Jausenstation Seeh\u00fcter is at an altitude of 862 m, and the route ends with an altitude difference of 301 m in Platzl Stall near Uderns.<\/p>\n\n

Lengstein toboggan run<\/h2>\n\n

The starting point of the 800 m long “Lengstein toboggan run” in Aschau is 700 m above sea level. This floodlit run offers a difference in altitude of 100 m and is perfect for tobogganing fans of all ages.<\/p>\n\n

Snowtubing on the Gerlosstein<\/h2>\n\n

In the Gerlosstein ski area, “snowtubing” offers winter fun for everyone on specially prepared tracks (approx. 200m). The short but action-packed route is ideal for winter fans who want to experience a speedy descent.<\/p>\n\n

Gerlostein toboggan run<\/h2>\n\n

The longest, well-lit toboggan run in the Zillertal is the “Gerlostein toboggan run” on the Hainzenberg in the Zillertal Arena. The 7 km long route leads from 1644 m on flat, fantastically groomed slopes to Schlittenstadl at 929 m altitude.<\/p>\n\n

PistenBock riding on the Ahorn<\/h2>\n\n

For a break from skiing or a day without ski or snowboard equipment on the Ahorn in Mayrhofen, tobogganing fun with the PistenBock is a great option. This special experience requires courage as you ski down the mountain on the specially prepared course.<\/p>\n\n
